Are you kidding? Republicans are pushing out anybody that isn't 100% on the Trump Train with every single issue. Question Trump once, even on something as little as one of his tweets, and you'll get attacked and called a "libtard SJW snowflake", doesn't matter if you're a registered card-carrying Republican. You can thank that hostile attitude towards anybody with a different opinion if the Democrats win in 2020.

Trump himself has been regularly inserting himself into State level primary elections to attack and defame any Republican that doesn't kiss his arse on the reg.

Even Fox News talks about the transformation of the GOP and admits it has become the "Party of Trump"

I read it that he was surrounded by white racists as a kid. And he feels like he wants to morally distance himself from that . It’s common. We see the same thing with homosexuality and religion.

We could go back and forth, or just acknowledge that people disagree on this issue. I suspect you know the answer to your question already and are resolute in your opinion, so I don’t really have the desire to debate what wasn’t even me vocalizing my own stance but outlining someone else’s.

My point was that he didn’t “apologize for being white” and and encourage you to take up that point for debate instead.
