Could you win political office without a college degree?

I know we've had presidents in our history without degrees, but that was obviously a pretty different time where much less people had degrees. In this day and age how much of a burden is it to not have a college degree if you're running for political office?

All you need is the ability to make people believe in you, whether your message is true or not.

Most local offices in this rural area are held by people without degrees. Obvious exceptions like DA, judge, etc.

Please tell me you're running for office. At least make a commercial for it. I need some comic relief.

You don't even have to have a GED to run for certain offices.
