An environment like the deserted island test would be the easiest. The constant high winds would definitely keep the mosquitos down. It also gives you plenty of things for shelter construction as well as a food source if you can catch crabs; the edible kind and not the kind from hooking up with the partner there.

We're talking about being out in the fricking jungle with snakes and typhoons and shite. Not selling coupon cards outside of Stine's to raise money to go to summer camp. GTFO of here with that Boy Scout bs.

The ex military guys seem to be the least likely to make it, from my observation. The hippies/naturalists are more likely to finish. I don't think I could do it today,25 yrs ago ...maybe?

I am also an Eagle Scout and you are dead wrong. Some troops may have not been like mine but we went camping a lot. Primitive camping 1 weekend a month and 1 week every summer doing some sort of high adventure like canoeing or backpacking. One summer we were on the trail in New Mexico for 11 days with nothing but what we could carry on our backs. That and a heavy interest in the outdoors and survival skills in the subsequent years gives me significant experience. More outdoor survival experience than 99% of the rest of the population. So who's more likely to survive; me or someone who has never spent more than 8 hours without AC?

I handled a few hours of no internet, cable, or electricity after last weeks storms like a boss. So sure I would kick arse on that show after surviving that. I'm a proven survivor.
Capt. Morgan raised my survival skills rating from .08 to .20 after surviving storm.

If you did that, and liked it, I think you would be fine. The geography of living outdoors in New Mexico and jungle is just a change of scenery background, minus bugs and soaking wet. I enjoy living in the jungle with just a hammock for a month. Not having rum and having to deal with someone else would be my only concern.

No, my penis is too small.
ETA: Does this post being downvoted mean that someone has confidence in the adequacy of my penis? I'm confused.

I could do "naked except for shoes". I never go bare foot. Ever.
It would be miserable as hell tho. I was an Eagle Scout too and have camped extensively all my life, but you take away clothes and gear and it's a whole new ball game. Anyone who makes it 21 days is a tough SOB.

No way, I'd die within 5 days.

Yes. I can make fire with sticks and have done it many times. I've also spent 3 months in the mountains on bare bones.
My main concern would be protecting my dick, balls, and a-hole from bugs. I'd work on that first. I don't get bit on my upper body, and the lower body bites go away in 10 minutes.
I've spent a lot of time by myself in the woods. I always carry a Camelback with 100oz water, 6" heavy knife, regular pocket knife, Leatherman, benadryl, ibuprofen, electrical tape, flagging, toilet paper, and a magnesium fire starter. I usually have a pistol on me. Running out of water is not a calming moment when you're a couple miles away from your truck

I highly doubt I could make it 21 days. I think I could do a weekend though.

Knew a girl who was on that show.

I would have a shot, but it'd be tough.
I could handle the elements and wildlife - been in many situations for as long (or longer) in goddawful conditions outside and know that I could withstand it. Bugs and heat aren't so bad after doing that in sub-zero temps for a month.
Going without gear makes things pretty damn tricky. Also, dehydration would scare the shite out of me.
