ETA: to be fair that guy was a really good grappler, but he's not breaking a sweat. Also, girls aren't built to take punches from men. This topic is kinda weird tbh

Gegard Mousasi is a long time professional fighter

Yes, it is. Now I feel weird since you mention it.

Yes.

I lift, BJJ and have decent cardio.

Most of the fat hey dude wearing guys here, fckk no. They don't have the stamina, she will evade until you have almost nothing left.

Summer 2015 OT throwback

"Could you beat Ronda Rousey?"

This weekly thread was in the arse end of the OT golden era. Pretty much been an obvious steady decline around here since imo

85% of this board would lose to Rhonda Rousey even minutes after she had her kid and was being wheeled out of the recovery room.

Yes.

A friend of mine is a doctor.

She fought 145 for a while.

Wrestling she could submit me fairly easily..because I didn't want to hurt her.

I pinned her against the ceiling of the camp one night after getting teased by the women there about getting beat by a girl four or five times.

Eventually size comes into play.

In a cage with rules, probably not.

Outside of a cage, even at 40, there is nothing she can do to stop me from beating her with the earth.

I think the female mma fighter could catch anyone. If she got you in an armbar, she has more power in her body than you have in your bicep. Women are also built for endurance.

BUT, men are built for explosiveness. Even though they have trained with professionals, most of them have never felt kicks and punches come at them with that speed and force. Even from average joes.

While I don't think men run roughshod over them 100%, I also don't think experience is enough to overcome biology. The closer in weight the combatants, or the worse the man's cardio is, the more interesting this question becomes

FWIW, not sure why anyone would think she could beat a pro male fighter. Also, RR is not a good example to use even for fighting the average Joe, her striking sucks. Her kicking is atrocious, and her punching is sub par. Better examples to use than RR, even in her prime.

Dylan crews. 6’0” 205 lbs. So same size as OP. obviously he is far more athletic than the average male, but isn’t trained nor does he play a contact sport I guess y’all think Dylan crews is going to get smoked by a 135lb mma female?
probably not he’s a professional athlete. I said could you, a member of the OT, beat a 135 pound female fighter. The average middle aged American male is not beating a professional mma fighter, even a female one.

That isn’t a fighter. That’s a man with no training. Rousey would rag doll him right?

But he has no fighting training man. How could he win?

I didn't know who that was. As I said, RR probably would not beat most average Joes. So no, I'd bet on the dude in this scenario.

because he’s a superior male specimen? Why are you arguing a point that I’m agreeing with you on? Like I don’t see what you’re getting at. FWIW I do not think any female mma fighter could beat an nfl player in a fight

In a ring? ...yeah. Yeah she could.

The fight will end by submission of the guy or knockout of the girl.

at almost 50, despite being 6'3 215#, I think I'm too old and slow. If I could get my arms around her within the first minute maybe. After that my odds go way down.

Ok, so you do agree a strength and size threshold does exist

no shite, I said that to you like 2 pages ago on a post you clearly didn’t read. It was the one where I explained why they shouldn’t be allowed in a combat units. I also understand why weight classes exist. I’m not a retard.
My post from earlier
quote:

When both are trained, size and a males natural superior bone structure comes into play making them almost impossible for a woman to defeat in hand to hand combat, also the way the male brain works, males tend to have quicker decision making abilities. But a woman trained to fight, who’s reached the level of a professional mma fighter would absolutely smoke some guy on the streets in his Columbia shirt, khakis and hey dudes

most people haven't been in a fight since the reggies parking lot. They don't know how to protect themselves, throw a punch or wrestle
