Could it be possible that people buying up everything are planning to resale?

Taking advantage of the Corona Hysteria and all these events being canceled. Kind of like during hurricanes with bottle water?
I'm willing to think that atleast half of the buying activity is done by those looking to profit.

I would just buy up as much gas as I could possible store then sell that shite whenever the price skyrockets again

Not happening.
People are dumb and the media is dumb trying to tank the economy too far out. In a few weeks this passes and the rich have even more money by they bought low on stocks driven down by clowns.
