I was just trying to reinforce your comment that implied it’s not genetic and more of a trend/choice.

A few days after that, I open up the mail.

And there's a pamphlet in there from Pueblo, Colorado and it's addressed to Bill, Jr.

And it's entitled, "Do you know what the queers are doing to our Soil?"

Now, Stuart, if you look at the soil around any large US city, there's a big undeground homosexual population.

Des Moines, Iowa, for an example. Look at the soil around Des Moines, Stuart.

You can't build on it; you can't grow anything in it. The government says it's due to poor farming, but I know what's really going on, Stuart.

I know it's the queers.

They're in it with the aliens.

They're building landing strips for gay Martians.

I swear to God.

I disagree and think it has to be biological. People on the extremes of homosexuality can’t make a choice to be that different from the norm any more than any of us can choose who were attracted to.

homosexuality is a gene, then natural selection would have eliminated it a long time ago

You could say the same thing about any genetic condition that leads to a deviation from the norm that limits reproduction or is life threatening.

I think it’s a combination of environment during early development having an effect on people that my be biologically inclined to homosexual. Or some latent biological abnormality….or hormones in everything we feed kids. Either way, I don’t think you just choose to be as gay as some of the freaks we have running around today.

If evolution was that efficient, we would be a perfect species by now …. And yet men still have nipples.

A rise from 3.6 % to 4.4 % of the population.

I think if you take the changing acceptance of this whole alphabet people thing that isn't a statistically significant number.

But if I were to blame anything natural, I'd be more inclined to think it is overpopulation.

Or it could be this world just circling the drain.

It can’t be when the primary biological purpose of humans is to reproduce.

More are becoming L than the others. Blame parents for raising a bunch of man-children who aren't worth marrying.

I doubt it. But climate change is causing 99% of all Green Sea Turtles to be females, due to temperature determining the sex of the turtle.
quote:

Heat up the eggs, and only females are born. According to the above-mentioned research, out of a population of about 200,000 turtles, more than 99 percent of young turtles and 87 percent of mature turtles are female. This means that for every juvenile male, there are 116 female turtles.

CHOICE

I get that if it’s not a choice you have to deal with the concept that homosexuals are just born that way. But I don’t think we have any conscious control over who we’re sexually attracted to or can change that willingly. It has to be biological.

The first time you tent poled in your pants when you noticed Mary Sue in the desk next to you had “grown” over the summer break….was that a choice?

2) it’s trendy.

How can letting a man jam his penis up another man’s arse be any more of a trend than drinking battery acid or eating dogshit? Seems like it would be too repulsive to ever catch on if it were simply a trend.

When I say that I mean something to do with a biological process that determines our sexual attraction. Maybe it is hormones, or not breast feeding, or too much Diet Coke, or some latent process we know nothing about.

I have a hard time believing that any otherwise normal teenage boy can go from lusting after their teacher to “you know, they told me it was okay to be a girl in health class so now I want to suck a dick”.

Also, kids do a lot of emotional and psychological development during their formative years. I’d love to see a study of the environment that homosexuals were raised in to see what trends emerge.
