Las Cruces isn't bad. Cost of living is low and hot Mexican college women. Learn Spanish though!

You will need to change your TD handle to “Wayout West”.

Considering there is still Arizona and California before the Pacific, maybe "Half-assed out West" is better.

drove through santa fe twice. seemed pretty crappy. Rest of New Mexico felt like a 3rd world country. and yeah, get used to dirt since there's no grass.

Congrats, you may have found the one state that's ranked worse than Louisiana.

Beautiful countryside but there’s a whole lot of nothing for the most part because there’s not much population, period.

Albuquerque is the only city of any remarkable size. Santa Fe is OK but past that you have places like Roswell and Farmerville which are really halfassed.

Dear God, please do it. I love northern New Mexico. The scenery there is absolutely incredible. Santa Fe is arguably my favorite city in the United States. I love Taos as well.

If I could ever persuade Mrs. Jones ...

The northern mountains get great reviews.

Taos is one of the more difficult mountains I have been on. It is incredibly steep.
