Lived in Roswell. Visited various cities in NM. Mostly spent time in ABQ and at the Inn of the Montain Gods casino in Ruidoso.

I have friends working in Carlsbad, it's Midland Jr and I hear it's like the wild west but the money is good.

If you are staying long buy a camper and find a spot at one of the parks, they have water, cable and wifi. Apparently there's not much other housing available.
