re: Cosby fires back, calls Eddie Murphy a "slave."

Honestly, I love this joke. Eddie has talked several times about his bad relationship he has with Bill. Big time comedies all the time will say how Cosby was there idol and how he helped them at different points in there career, including Jerry Seinfeld. But (most likely) because Eddie was a huge star and black, Cosby felt a had the right to tell Eddie how to act and how to perform and how he should behave. If you hear Eddie talk about it, sounds like Cosby was super mean to him throughout his career. He goes really in to depth on Jerry's Comedies in Cars getting Coffee.

Suffice to say, I think that the recent event's in both of there lives are kind of satisfying to Eddie. Even though he played jump-rope with the "line" of what is appropriate when he was a comedian, like 99% of comedians do - he really wasn't a bad guy at all. Turns out he was also also not a bad role model.

I listened to Bill Burr's podcast from Thursday and he said the year he decided to become a comedian he had gone to two shows that year. Rodney Dangerfield.. Who he said killed it, but he noticed it was an all white older crowd.

Then he went to Eddie Murphy's raw tour.. He noticed that it was a whole different crowd, white, black, older, younger... And everyone was laughing their asses off and that's when he told himself "that's what I want to do. I want to be a comedian that is able to relate to everyone".

Eddie Murphy was one time the best out there.. On the other hand it was as if Cosby used to look down on comedians who had to cuss to be funny. I was never a fan of Bill Cosby.

He calls Eddie a slave, which is funny.. Because Eddie is a free man, while Cosby is the property of Pennsylvania.
