Goes to show money does a lot for you, but it’s not everything. Make the money if you can, but don’t forget to spend time with your family and make memories.

I’ve done both the office/cubicle thing Mon-Fri, as well as the constant corporate travel thing- and if the choice is between those two existences, i’m taking the corporate travel every time...nothing is worse , in my experience, than dealing with office politics and water cooler bs , and a boss looking over your shoulder every day.. yeah, travel can be a grind , but i’m on my own for the most part, able to mange my own schedule , for the most part, and feel more like an adult than like a kid being supervised all the time.. I realize this isn’t everyone’s preference though.

I’m a teacher. I like what I do, but I can be monotonous. I’d love to go visit different cities and sit through business meetings if I could do it on the company dime. If I had a free evening in said city, I’d be fine.
