This marginal viral disease is showing us where the weak links are in society. And they are literally everywhere.

We will survive this, and soon, but next year, or maybe the year after, or maybe in 10 years, there will be a fricking monster virus that puts us on the doorstep of a zombie apocalypse. And what we learn now is crucially important.

All I have learned so far is that people have shite for brains and are ready to buy up toilet paper at a moment’s notice.

Toilet paper will save us all. How do you not see this? All the genius hoarders can’t be wrong, right?

What else are we supposed to throw at the zombie horde as it slowly moves toward us?

That can be seen during perfectly normal times on a daily basis.

There really isn’t much that can be done for a “monster virus”. I am not doubting that there is valuable info to learn but it doesn’t matter how high your levees are if it’s a category 5.

This thing's going to expose the economic and intellectual rot in our country.

If the human race were to be wiped out, I feel pretty confident that it would be from a virus or bacteria, not war, famine, alien, or asteroid.

Anyone that rushed out to buy toilet paper will no doubt be the first to go in the apocalypse.

I’m talking a matter of minutes before those people are goners

Just wait til this mutates and symptoms include rotgut. You'll wish you had some toilet paper. I'm limiting myself to one sheet a day.

I think that most rational people will be 100% prepared.

The problem is that most people are not rational. They watch The Batchelorette.

I don’t understand. Are you advocating doomsday prep or not?
