Pro athletes travel more and are in crowds more, are in close contact with other athletes who also travel a lot

so 1/1k pro athletes have the virus compared to 1/110k in the general population - is that your hypothesis? 110 /1 = 15? What am I missing here?

They are under 60 and in very good health compared to the general population. frick off with this hysterical bullshite. These professional athletes ARENT DYING. frick infection rate. Mortality rate and the specific demographics it impacts are more important. The vast VAST majority of people have NOTHING to worry about when it comes to their personal wellbeing.

If this Crap kills more people over the next 2 years than the common flu, then ill listen. Until then...

3 NBA

They aren't random NBA players though.

Rudy Gobert AKA patient zero in the NBA
Donovan Mitchell, a teammate of Gobert
Christian Wood, a player that had to guard Gobert a few nights before the NBA suspended the season.

Travel in season is domestic. Flights are private. So I gotta disagree there.

But, large crowds is a good point!

Pro athletes, especially well known ones like Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, have significantly more direct physical contact with others than the average citizen between their games/practices and with fans looking for autographs or to get a picture. More chances to come into direct contact with someone who may unknowingly have the virus

True on the NBA connection.

But, XFL and MLB guy?

That's still 3 occurances where should at most be 1.

Louisiana is testing at 1 per 45k right now. And we know it is unofficially higher.

Your math is off.

serious question....How do they know Donovan was not patient 0 if you can be a carrier and show no symptoms? To me that seems to be a big problem with this process...we are testing the known sick patients only...obviously those people are being avoided by the public no matter what the tests results are....It is the carriers no one suspects has it that could be infecting lots of people
