It's all relative. Every day has back log testing.

But you’re assuming that every backlog number is the same, when in reality it’s not.

So today’s backlog may be from a large group that died multiple days ago when everyone thought it was the peak, thus inflating today specifically.

Unfortunately deaths can be drawn out as well. People will be on vents weeks and weeks before they die. A huge chunk of these "new" deaths could be people that contracted the virus a month ago.

I give up.

Of course Test. Test. Test.

Of course Treat. Treat. Treat.

But ultimately what will be will be. And if it happens to be me, I told my husband he better not let me linger on a vent. No way, no how.

I don’t know if I’m in the minority here, but I’m more concerned than I was even last week. This virus is worse than the flu—hence the drastic measures taken all over the world. This is a bad one, folks.

its just as more likely your perception of the virus is being altered by the drastic measures taken all over the world.

Yeah. Let’s not let 969 deaths in one day in a country cloud our judgement or anything. :rolls eyes:

Paging Commander Data. How are you doing this morning?

I have had better days brother. About to start plaquenil so I hope that works. I haven't gotten worse but I haven't gotten better either. The nurse lady that takes my vitals every so often either has the hots for me or is just really good at her people skills and is going out of her way to make me smile. I wish I could see my kids.

OT here but I just bought my 15 yrs old daughter a gaming computer and Amazon delivered it yesterday. She is trying to hook up her monitor or television to the VGA port and it won't work. I doubt the computer is messed up. Does she need a dvi to hdmi adapter or something? Any reason why the VGA port won't work? Hate to even ask but I can't be there to help her right now.

Back on topic, the doctor is really worried about my blood oxygen levels. I hope this new treatment plan works. I keep hoping to cough something up after each breathing treatment but it just won't happen. No need to worry about me though guys, I refuse to let this thing take me out. It's not my time. I have a very good and blessed life ahead of me when I beat this thing and I will beat it. You guys just keep playing it safe out there. It may not be much more than a severe cold or less for most of you but you probably know a moron like me that smoked for many years or have parents etc that can't fight it off as well as you can. I am encouraged by the reports I am reading today and I pray that we can all go back to our normal lives soon.

Thanks for keeping us updated. Keep staying positive! The hydroxychlorquine will probably help you clear it up.

I'm clueless so I'm sorry I can't help. Try the OT or the Tech Board?

Glad to hear that at least it's not worse. God bless you and your family CD.

Wondering how many deaths a day it will take for you folks to realize this is not just 'lol flu.' Given the projections, the U.S. is going to be knocking on 500+ in a week or so. Louisiana already trending upwards around 25+

Also, surprise, people will still be getting the flu and other various ailments. Hope you don't need to go to the hospital for any reason in the next few months because they'll be on the verge of collapse without significant federal intervention.

At what point for you is the 'sky actually falling?' 1,000 deaths a day in the U.S.? 5,000? Just curious.

Let's let it play out before we declare that hospitals are on the verge of collapse for the next several months. You know, be rational and calm and shite.

VGA is less than desirable. The gaming laptop will more than likely have a port for a HDMI or a display port cable. Sometimes it could be a mini-hdmi or mini-display port. Tell us what model laptop you bought and we can help you. hope you feel better soon!

Data, is the z-pack in conjunction with this an option? I know doctors can be touchy about patients asking for specific treatments, but when your life is on the line, I think you're entitled to step in their shite a bit.

Get better soon, brother!
