Yeah two negative swabs is what I was told but that was here and I don't know anyone personally with it so IDK how it's truly been handled.

I still want a paycheck and I still want my job. The destroya is telling me not to leave my house though. If Jefferson gets shut down then that’s a different story.

What is so crazy to me is how much our country feels like a communist country now. We’re being told when, where, and that we can’t do things at our own discretion and judgment. State and federal government are crippling the economy to the point that the damage is worse than the virus itself, and that’s what I was worried about from the beginning. If this virus re-emerges next fall, etc, we cannot just shut down the country every time. If it gets to the point where we’re all told to stay inside and a cop stops me from walking outside in my own neighborhood, I won’t even know what country I live in anymore. I feel we should be able to eat out, attend church, etc at our own discretion with our own judgment, even though the virus may be out there.

Are there any numbers to back this claim up? I’ve heard this more and more, but haven’t seen anything quantitative that actually supports this argument.

You don't really need numbers. If you can't see the economy melting down you aren't paying attention.
Edit: That came off harsher than intended. I meant that all the analysts in the world could not have predicted this and we are all in uncharted waters. No one can produce data to support future economic outlook because no one knows if peeps are going back to work anytime soon. All this feel good corporate charity to idled workers won't last forever. There is also some data that supports increased illness with economic decline.
