Official story - Dec 31st is when China notified the WHO of an outbreak of 41 cases of a disease in Wuhan. Within 80 days there are two confirmed cases in Haiti.
I know we live a connected world but there is no way those little yellow devils are being anywhere near truthful about when this started over there.

The fact that you ignore the blatant fear mongering for a virus doing little damage aka the flu at the demise of this country is all I need to know about your knowledge
I walked out of Swedish covenant hospital in Chicago (one of the most densely populated cities in the world) with wide open ICU beds free underworked staff and docs more concerned about their 401k rather than this flu.
South Korea tested more than anyone in the world on a per capita basis. That was key to tracing and finding most of the cases. Read up about their program.

They only tested 0.5% of their population. It got around more than that before they “stopped” it.

Fatality rate is arguably irrelevant. The real question is how close to capacity is the health care system?

The only true recoveries being tracked are those who get hospitalized. If you’re simply told to go home and quarantine, no one is following up.

If recoveries are never being tracked then the infected number is inaccurate. Say a half dozen are recovered, the infected number won't reflect that and only climb.

My understanding is that anyone tested positive is tracked, regardless of hospitalization or not, and only considered recovered after two negative tests.
Maybe a Doc on here can clear up the confusion.

I think the main issue is getting to the point where those who would survive with hospitalization end up dying because the hospitals are full. That would be a problem that would cause the death toll to rise exponentially and unnecessarily.

I was never told I needed to come back for extra tests. Just to stay inside two weeks. Wash often and Clorox/disinfect the house. Also to stay away from family if possible. I’m sleeping in the spare bedroom now.
