I’m beginning to feel like this has turned into a category 7 hurricane heading straight for New Orleans, only to turn into a tropical depression.

However, a number of researchers have been reviewing ILINet & WHO-NREVSS data for the US and as of 3.13.20, there still wasn't strong evidence of a high volume undetected COVID-19 in the data.

Strong signal starting to show up in the ILI data that wasn't really there during flu season. There are some theories out there that COVID19 has been widespread in the US for a while now. However, this appears to point towards the Trump admin travel restrictions on China slowing down the timeline in the US vs Europe.

It’s showing that it’s not likely Corona was here until recently we just delayed it significantly because of Trumps ban

It doesn’t bode well for the idea that everyone’s last cold was corona

Am I reading the chart correctly? If someone goes to the ER and mentions the flu, it’s counted on that graph?

Have y'all already talked about the 44* yo that died in Louisiana from it today?

Governor Edwards said the ninth and tenth deaths were a 44-year-old from New Orleans and a 91-year-old from Lambeth House.

Perspective: we will need 600,000 new cases per day for the next 90 days to reach the H1N1 numbers.
