Well scruffy, my dog’s general contractor says your commander general colonel body is wrong. And I trust him, he’s twice as scruffy as you are!

The lack of Civics and general knowledge of the size of the military is astonishing. Governors are the Commander's in Chief of their State's respective National Guard. The Federal government, especially the Department of Homeland Security, can't federalize them without the governor's consent. Even then, the military is restricted to just supporting local law enforcement.

Second, the military doesn't have enough people to "lock down" the entire Country. Not even friggin close.

Stop using movies as reference material.

Stop trying to hide info dude. My mailman heard from his cousin's girlfriend's nail salon technician who is in the national guard that JBE is announcing a lockdown effective tonight at midnight. They also have orders to shoot on sight anyone caught leaving their house. They're also going house to house and painting the doorframes with a lamb's blood for anyone who's been confirmed to have COVID. We're headed for some serious shite guys.

This. Obviously it's complete and utter panic porn bullshite but the "Once the troops are in place nationwide" bit is such a dead giveaway.

Our military is gigantic and still wouldn't come even close to having the manpower to maintain a nationwide lockdown.

Wrong. I agree with what you're defending, but this is wrong. It's the opposite, they can't do law enforcement. To federalize them though, for other purposes not relating to law enforcement, the president doesn't need the governor's permission.

I would be shocked if they enacted a two week shutdown. It’s that type of text that started the tp bullshite. All the little Facebook dopes follow and spread that sheep mentality and get everyone in a panic. People, just use common sense and quit losing y’all’s shite! The NG will be used in a supportive role, if necessary, if activated.

It wouldn’t be physically possible to “close all businesses”. Christ. People are stupid.

Is hydroxychloroquin being used in combination with azithromyacin or as a standalone in your hospital?

Several state governments (OH and PA for sure) are now trying to assess how many ventilators and anesthesia machines are available in veterinary hospitals. I suspect this directive came from the federal level because of the similarity in the emails. Not being asked to provide them yet, just gathering a count at this time. There was also some discussion of how veterinary staff could assist human medicine if the need arises.

I feel like this whole thing is a scene from a movie at this point. I don't know anything about human equipment so I don't even know how useful the vet equipment would be in a human setting.

Fauci says advantage we have over Italy is that we shut down our travel from China early. And then shutting down travel from Europe.

Italy didn’t shut down their China travel until it was too late.
