The fear mongering mixed with libs and lower class’ sheep mentality caused this. This is a lesson on the power the mainstream media holds over the less educated. The downfall of our country and maybe the world.

Your perspective is bad. COVID has been outpacing H1N1, and is on track to continue outpacing H1N1 in spite of media hype and governments overreaching/overreacting.

This guy gets its.

It’s the social media and mainstream media morons.

The toilet paper run should tell everyone how stupid and controlled this country really is.

It really is ridiculous and overblown. It's amazing to me how people are behaving. It's why I always say that America is on the decline in every way.

Well the governor's are now in a race to see who can lock their state down the most it seems like. JBE is probably chomping at the bit to mash down on the brakes.

Could the rise be self-fulfilling in a way? Trump announces travel ban. People start running to doctor for every sniffle?

I vote no.

The toilet paper run for a respiratory virus was one of the best examples of sheeple in modern history.

Went ahead and did my grocery shopping. I'm not gonna be fricked like last weekend. Probably 30 people waiting at the door when they opened.

I wonder if there’s some sort of genetic signature in certain people that make them more susceptible to critical issues.

Italians in certain regions seem to have a much harder time with this and not just elderly. There are handfuls of younger people with the same in this country and not all have underlying conditions.

I think we are overreacting as a nation, but that perspective is false. It's exponential growth with these viruses, so the catchup occurs at the very tail end.

Also believe the number of cases is much higher than reported because we are currently not testing in significant numbers... which is a good thing because this means that this might burn through our population more quickly than we think. Our incompetence might help us out.

And since dead bodies are not piling up everywhere, it’s therefore not the killing machine we’ve been Doomcasted.
