A decent claim, though still gotta give the “picked the wrong birthday” award to the Greatest Generation though - the ol’ childhood in the Great Depression, just to spend the prime of their lives dragging a rifle around Europe double whammy.

I’m pretty sure China’s official position on this virus has been “nuh uh” for a couple of weeks now.

I'm hearing from multiple sources that there has been a confirmed case in Winston County, Mississippi, which is 20 minutes south of Starkville.

An eleven year old child.

Just got tested for covid. My son in law is from Washington and returned home from visiting his parents last week. I went to visit them and my granddaughter without even considering that he had been infected during his visit. Well, he is showing systems as of a few days ago and got his results back yesterday. He is quarantined at home and I went and got tested. I have had a persistent dry cough for a few days along with a few other symptoms but I thought I had bronchitis. Took my test yesterday and am awaiting results. I won't be leaving the house and when I called my employer they accused me of lying in order to get out of work. I am expected to email my results somehow to them when they get in. I have to admit that I am a bit worried because I have copd but not really freaking out. I will post updates should I get a positive test.

So... I am a high risk patient placed on isolation at my house. How long should I expect to be here? I am thinking first of May but not really sure.....

You have COVID-19 or you are in isolation to avoid getting COVID-19?

Stories like that make me appreciate working for a great boss and institution all the more.

Can you link the study and not the internet article. I can’t find it in your link.

The study is the article. The linked article was written by the professor in question.

I'm not sure why some employers are being so hard-headed about this.

If you had the flu, I assume they'd have no issue with you calling out sick.

This really doesnt seem unreasonable man.

Are they threatening to fire you for staying home? Or are you trying to get them to pay you to stay home right now?
