I'm honestly not trying to pick a fight but does that change the fact that Oregon is burning through its medical stockpile for protective gear?

I made the face shields in the ED. Im sorry I am not gonna dox myself or reveal what facilities I work at to prove myself to some randoms on the interwebs. A few posters here have shared information about their facilities and my post was for those few. Not being rude just really tired.

I don't get surgical gowns. Why can't they just take something like a plastic poncho and use that as an alternative?

He probably wasn't talking to you, you just happened to be the post he clicked reply on. Usually if someone is talking to you they will quote you. That's how this place works.

The gown is easily disposable and cheap.

Fake is on you — she’s a good poster and front line. Not a reason to not believe her.

I don't blame you, I didn't realize at first you had a "name" in your screen name.

You didn't come across as rude. Good luck and get some rest if possible.

The gowns are sterile to prevent infection during surgery.

Just trying to stand up for the good guys.
Good luck to you as a medic. Louisiana? What part of the state and what are y’all seeing??

Do you know if California has requested and received any PPE from the national stockpile? Apparently Ohio has already received their first shipment of "hundreds of thousands" of items; they won't give exact numbers or what they received.

Or maybe it was here amongst healthy individuals and then a visitor visited a nursing home full of very old susceptible people.

Yeah, not a good idea for ANY hospital to be doxxed because the ensuing panic might worsen things.

Ah so it’s a home where the families collectively hate them and visit once a quarter.
It’s like you’ve never even heard of Occam.
