Reports of two different strains with different virulence were discussed in this thread a couple of weeks ago. It would be interesting, for several reasons, if true but there's been no follow up that I've seen.

Unless there’s been an update I don’t know about, the “2 strain” theory had been debunked

Analysis strongly suggests that the NYC metro area has 5–10 days to quarantine the city or face dramatically overwhelmed hospitals, extremely high death rates, and a ruined economy.

In bold at the top it says Covid-19. Right there. I don’t think you are on to anything.

I refuse to believe that a low estimate of hospital beds in NYC would be that low.

shite, a quick google shows that the top 5 alone have damn near 8k.

confirmed via CDC. But it is still a test for covid-19. Not some other Coronavirus.

It is already been deemed positive by the State.

11 new cases in New Jersey. All male patients between the ages of 28-48 with 6 in ICU. The Politards are gonna need a new talking point.

That graph is complete and utter bullshite. If you think NYC only has 3k beds at most, idk what to tell you.

Yep. Many seeding events in Italy in fairly small area is why they are completely overrun right now. I'm sure the US had many seeding events as well, but spread over a much larger area.

Then it got into the ski resorts which spread back to the rest of Europe. Plenty of the phylogenetic analysis supports this.

I don’t know, 3k open beds in NYC still seems a bit low. It’s NYC for crying out loud.

I want someone to explain either we're severely under testing this or the cfr is very high.

Meaning as we test more the CFR will come more in line with oh ma gherd, the flu. They are directly connected to each other.

Selection bias.

If you read the article, there are no elderly in the ICU because all the nursing homes and retirement homes are self-isolating (a good thing).
