Look at growth from case 1 to over 3600 in 50 days with limited testing. Most are still in denial and flat out refuse to acknowledge the growth in the states.
Obviously, this virus has a huge transmission rate.

I don't think anyone is denying that it spreads easily and very rapidly. I think most people who don't understand the measures to slow it down (I get it) are confused/angry about disrupting everyday life so severely over something that just isn't that deadly. And on some level, I can see where they are coming from.

If this virus is a bioweapon it's a really shitty one.

It doesn't have to be a super deadly one off the bat. Think of this more as a trial run or test to see what would happen. What China learned is that even a mild one can cause global panic and shut down our schools, economy, and country.

Many advanced countries like USA, China, Britain, etc. all have the capability for bioweapon warfare. You are victim of the just world belief if you don't even want to consider the possibility this was an engineered virus. It may have even accidentally gotten out, but it's out.

And it’s also damaged their economy. I’ll bet the lasting effects hit them harder than anyone economically.

With greater numbers comes greater deaths, that’s why the exposure has to be limited. It’s short sited to say well only (3-4%) will die from this, the total could still be a huge number even though it’s small compared to positive test results.

3-4% isn’t close to the real number.

The testing of the most severe catches just about every death but misses the mild and asymptomatic... the vast majority of cases.

This is part of a concern for me. Little Typhoid Marys running around spreading this virus without symptoms is a problem.

No symptoms doesnt mean not contagious.

Exactly.....the final number will be embarrassing in relation to the reaction...less than 1%. Sad little hysterical libtards.

I have considered the possibility that this was engineered, and I have rejected that possibility.

Sure it is possible, but it seems more reasonable to assume this was a virus that jumped species. It happens.

PLEASE tell me you are not serious. That growth rate of cases over 50 days is putrid....take a look at a "normal" flu season number of cases over 50 days in the Winter and the death cases as well and then rethink your silly response.

that can work both ways then for people that weren’t tested, maybe just similar symptoms without being positive. I’m going off confirmed and not speculations

Libtards
Trumpkins

Soyboy
Cucks
Trumpets

I wish we could put these to rest at least for the foreseeable future. Regardless of how you vote, we are one country, one people and need to stick together.

I’ll quote this post in 2 weeks and see how we’re doing.

How many times does it have to be said that regardless of the number you want to believe, it has the ability to overwhelm the medical system. Then that number goes up. Meaning people die unnecessarily that need routine care.

Those are undeniable facts based on evidence that has been posted in this thread for almost 2 months and people still refuse to believe it

The speculation with any and every illness is that the ones not confirmed are due to being too mild and asymptomatic. We have an estimation of 0.01% of flu cases leading to death because they have to estimate millions of cases were people don’t go to the doc and get a confirmed test. This is no different.

I'm watching England's approach, that's going to be interesting.

It's definitely damaging their economy, but with their control over so much of the supply chain, they are probably in the best position to rebound as the rest of the world is going to need a lot of what they produce.
China has already made veiled threats of withholding critical supplies from us.

You know good and well that two weeks isn’t enough time to see it fall that low.

I’ve heard every excuse in the book in this thread

First it was the Chinese smoke a lot
Then it was that they have higher ACE2 levels
Then it wouldn’t get out of China
It won’t spread in first world countries
1st world countries can handle the overflow
The CFR wont be that high in first world countries
Etc.
