his definitely came in during Mardi Gras.
10 days incubation. Couple days to worsen. Couple days to test.
Just wait for the St Patrick's Day parades to really bring it home. Nothing better for containment than a bunch of drunk micks exchanging flowers for kisses.

This very second? The flu. If I contracted them as a healthy 33 year old, it’s even.
Go back to studying.
You agreed covid19 kills .68% of people. The flu kills like .14%.
In case you didnt know .68% is higher than .14%.

Regardless of whether this thread existed or not wouldn’t stop any of that. So not sure why you’re melting over this thread.
Also whether or not the fear is warranted, it is an event that is happening in the world right now. Discussing it (yes there are some fear mongers and trolls) isn’t wrong. It’s more informative than a lot of the shite that gets posted on the OT on a daily basis.

While it’s not the Black Plague, it’s also not a cold

You should start the “calm” coronavirus thread and y’all can jerk each other off telling everyone how brave you are and how much you don’t care.
It would be a hit

Once you figure out percentages, you can move on to less than/great than.

Well he's not wrong IF he's referring to a specific demographic segment. Others this is obviously worse than the flu.

You asked about me specifically. I gave you the correct answer. Today, I’m more likely to die from catching the flu because I’m simply way more likely to catch the flu. Period. There’s 1 case of corona in LA. There are thousands of the flu.
Now, if I caught one or the other, I’m still fine. I’m not a baby or old or sick. There’s no data to suggest this kills more healthy people than the flu. That data doesn’t exist yet.

Alright, I have a question for y'all. It seems to go along with the rest of this thread today so we'll keep the heat rolling
. I know my answer but I'm curious what others will say.
I woke up Saturday with a bad headache, chills, coughing, malaise, and body aches. Didn't have a thermometer so no recorded fever but I'm sure I did. Sunday body aches persisted through morning but resided yesterday afternoon with Tylenol and haven't returned. Recorded my temp yesterday and no fever. Only thing going still today is cough and runny nose, other than that I feel great (still took off today).
Typically I'd return to work 24+ hours after fever is gone. But times are certainly different right now. Is it irresponsible of me to return to work tomorrow?

Without a fever, I would go. Keep your area clean By wiping it down often and wash your hands a ton.

When I had flu B 3 weeks ago I gave myself a little over 48 hours after my fever was gone before I went back to work. Work in a hospital so didn’t really want to be exposing people unnecessarily. Job also fairly physical and I was still pretty fatigued compared to my norm.

First case, that's funny. It's been here for weeks.

You have to be one of the biggest gaping pussies on this site. How many times have you cum to the corona virus in the past week?
Posted on 3/9/20 at 1:57 pm to Bulletproof Lover
Incoming Anecdote:
I had Type A flu in October, lasted a full 7 days, thought I was going to die (seriously). The cough and shortness of breath lingered for almost a month. That shite was brutal.

It is irresponsible and inconsiderate. Not because you have COVID-19 but because I don't want to even have the flu right now. I don't want to be in a hospital for any reason right now. So, you go to work and get someone sick and they have to go to hospital? Bad idea.
