We have a flying trip scheduled and I would prefer not to take go, tbh.

We have some other health issues anyway, and airplanes and airports are basically germ incubators.

That said, we are still going, but will be wiping everything down with wipes.

Also using a paper towel to turn off sink faucet whenever possible. I also have a habit of resting my chin on my hand or holding my hand up to my chin/mouth area when working at a desk, so I am trying to make sure I don't do that, at least not until after I have washed my hands thoroughly.

All good thoughts. When I wash my hands in a public restroom, I use the towel I dried with to open the door and exit. Try to minimize touching surfaces as best I can. We don't go out and sit down to eat much with three kids, but if I did, I'd limit that as well. Also, I mentioned a few pages back: Use the stairs and stay out of elevators. Just don't use the handrail if you don't have to.

Got on an elevator not that long ago with my boss and as the door is closing, a woman with her daughter, standing in the opposite corner, informs us that she has the flu. I'm like....

If I or family member were immune compromised, I would have already stockpiled necessities and masks and locked myself away until a vaccine is developed.

But since we're not, im doing absolutely nothing outside my routine and I absolutely expect to get it and probably not even have symptoms and may already have it.

That guy should have been shot on sight by the first person to see him. Some of our laws are lacking.

It is amazing the people that don't wash hands.

It transcends age, race, and (percieved) income level.

Nasty AF.

I was going to add this to my post, but I thought I was starting to sound like a germaphobe. The people I see leaving a restroom without washing their hands is just dumbfounding. I will never understand that thought process.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist in any way but this just smells fricking bad. Like a let's see what happens. How the hell do you mistakenly release someone under isolation for coronavirus? Horse shite it was a mistake.

This is me but I've always been overly cautious too.

I keep big bottle of hand sanitizer in the car and use it as soon as I get in.

Always wipe down the cart, use paper towels to open doors is public bathrooms, always use right after shaking hands (when it's not totally obvious).

We're invited to a kid's birthday this weekend. Not dying to go.

Probably overly paranoid...

I'd imagined the person in San Antonio is probably low risk right?

She confirmed negative twice and must not have been showing symptoms so I'd assume she wasn't actively coughing/sneezing on shite, so how would she spread it unless she's right up in your face?

Haven’t they said asymptomatic people can still spread it?

Have you been following this story? Pretty much everybody in the U.S. and abroad has shown incompetence.

It's been stated that asymptotic people still spread it so who knows if she's low risk or not. After this shite settles and is over I want a full audit of our CDC and Healthcare system. There needs to be changes across the board.

First case in New Hampshire. The person recently traveled to Italy and works at a medical center.

It would be great if we could see a peak and decline in a country outside of China. I think until then the markets will continue to get hammered as no one knows if there is an end in sight.

Is SG not viable? The peaked early on and have slowed down to almost none. An occasional 1 pops up here and there.

This probably has something to do with SK placing every diagnosed patient in the hospital regardless of symptoms. Last I checked.

That being said, it appears they are reaching their breaking point. What they do next will tell us a lot. I predict large quarantines to slow the spread. I just don’t know what else can slow this thing down.

Singapore? They are a tiny island nation that has been proactive with testing and isolation. I think that’s why they are holding it off for now. I’m talking about once a country has community spread, they run out of beds, then what? Because that’s the trajectory we have seen so far.
