The number of pts from Hubei being classified as critical rose sharply yesterday too. It was like 125 yesterday. You’d have to assume that’s were most of the fatalities came from. Now it’s 228. It more or less doubled in one day.
Has there been any reports of pts recovering after being classified as critical?

Germany has four confirmed from the single asymptomatic vector. All four are in the same company and were exposed to the Chinese National who flew to Germany (Bavaria), gave a lecture and visited the company, and then felt sick on her return to China.
Yesterday (Monday) there was a single confirmation in Germany; this adds three more.
This link goes to an article about the German problem, even though it says it goes to a Japanese confirmed two-sick.

I believe that China is going to start updating numbers twice a day on the 29th. Also, the numbers that came out earlier this evening might have only been from Hubei.

Fwiw, that's because they update Hubei numbers first, then add mainland China. It's not 500 new cases in 2 hours, it's more like 500 new cases in the last 24 hours in all of mainland China outside of Hubei.

It's too early to call it a "trend", but the last two days of numbers have come in slightly under the exponential regression. Hope it continues.
