It’s going to bankrupt everyone in the travel tourism business, or seriously hurt them. I was in Florida last week and took a few fishing trips . One guy had 8 cancellations they day of our trip, the other guy would not tell me but turned his phone off the whole trip, but just said he was starting to worry. Both of these guys are very good with one of them booked up all the way to May l, or he was. I was looking at taking a trip to hunt turkey in South Florida next month but they were booked. They are lighting me up offering discount trips now.

They will bail out the airlines etc. They need to check the language in their business interruption policy. Louisiana was very lucky to get Mardi Gras in

Dem Plan B. Hurt economy and market.

Lots of small businesses are hurting thanks to the media panic.

Sorry OP. Some eggs have to be cracked in order for the left to try and win an election with a retarded candidate.

Your family are probably nice people, but they are in a shitty business. Time to reevaluate. Or they needed to have safegaurds and a plan of action in place like almost all companies do.

It really wasn’t supposed to even be a business. They started traveling to see the world when they could. Then friends wanted to join them. They did all the logistics and daily plans. The friends loved it so much that they recommended people they know to do the same. It became a business out of demand.
I used the word bankrupt the business but honestly that is an overreaction. They could easily start up again later. They just love to travel and I want them happy at their age. If they didn’t have so much money on the line for the booked trips, it would be different. But they will be ok even without that income. It hurts my sister more than anyone because she put a lot of time into that business to make it work. But she is smart and has a degree so she will be fine plus her husband does well.
So it really isn’t all that bad considering what others are going through.

Corona virus isn’t bankrupting their business. The liberal media is. It’s exactly what they want. They are sabotaging the American people all in the name of ousting Trump.

The Italians are in on it too. Manufacturing all those deaths and collapsing their healthcare system so that they can get Trump out of office.

Im sure they will be fine once this blows over. Im being harsch, but a travel company? This has been known for a while. You have to be prepared. My company was sending out notices well before the first US cases popped up because they have business overseas.

Companies that last protect themselves from the what ifs. Even if its something crazy like this.

That sucks. I did just talk to a lady who runs a small grocery delivery service and she is so busy she has gotten about a day and a half behind and is trying to hire help with deliveries. Said her business cell range nonstop almost for the last 30 hours or so.

Some businesses will be hit hard and some will flourish because if this.

Except for the fact that it was an international attraction that "potentially" exposed hundreds of thousands in the state to the virus... thus exacerbating the overall economic toll.

Yeah but it’s doesn’t matter. 60% or more of us are going to catch this no matter what.

That's possible.

But it's better that 60% catch it over the span of 3 months and can be adequately cared for if respiratory intervention/rescue is needed -- than 60% catch it the span of a week and flood the hospitals and ICUs at once.

We are in the contingency right now. There is no stopping this virus, only slowing it enough so that those that do get it can be cared for properly.

It's terrible and inconvenient but it will potentially save lives. Old and already sick lives ... but lives nonetheless.

This year? Ban bet?

Average yearly deaths per pitbull -24. Average lightning strike deaths per year - 27

You think there will be less than 51 deaths from this? There are 38 in less than a month from the first confirmed case in the US.

They do offer travel insurance. They encourage everyone to get travel insurance but pretty much none of the clients got it from what I’m aware of.
It’s a small company of 5. I guess they thought this virus would be over or contained. Pretty much nobody including the family didn’t take it serious when it first popped up. By the time it hit Italy it was too late.
