As of today Shanghai has had only 3 deaths from the virus to date and we are running around like a bunch of lunatics buying up all the toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

Actually, the sky screamers were using it as “evidence” the Chinese were lying and that this was the worst disease ever because the reactions was out of line with the deaths.
If you are going to pretend to have folllowed this, you could at least have gotten your facts straight.

People are cancelling their vacations in August. In August. 10 Weeks ago few people in Shanghai were worried about Corona. And now, only a few people in Shanghai are worried about Corona Virus.
I get preparation and vigilance. But 10 weeks from now I have a feeling the corner will be turned here.

You know, I'm not saying I am a fan of their humanitarianism, but one thing I can respect out of China is their tenacity to get things done. Their process of going from A-B is second to none.

With almost zero enforcement, yes.
Huge difference between that and what China did. I guess I’m glad China did what they did, even though some of it was pretty messed up.
Mind you, it was after they ignored it initially and continued with the new year celebrations.
