This reminds me of the occasional book I read where all the characters are terrible and you end up hating them all.

The snap is going to do them in. That was really really stupid and shows that at least a few of them were sober enough to be fully aware of what was going on. Is the girl just as much to blame? Yeah, probably so. It comes down to weighing sobriety and it looks terrible for the snap bros
It still seems like she was willing and consenting. Was the snap disrespectful and vulgar, absolutely. But saying stuff like "shop's still open", while vulgar and disrespectful, isn't illegal.
I just find it convenient the story is changing now, since the woman probably thinks they can get good money from it.

agreed that is a big disctincton.
I see that as ultimately being like a George Floyd where far too many people will stop thinking critically and paint with a broad brush about not only what happened here, but basically ... men.
I agree it's not exactly Duke Lacrosse, but it feels like it's going to turn into the same media circus. And Duke Lacrosse had plenty of "basically, all men" views from women.
Get ready for women to say the entire male race is like this, because they are judging us based off the worst of men. But yet they would flip out if men judged them based off the worst of women, and then said "basically, all women".

This is the thing everyone defending these guys is missing. Spin it how you want with consent and her agreeing. Sending snap chat out inviting 57 of your friends to come and have sex with this drunk/high girl is not regular dumb kid behavior. That is disgusting and wrong in a lot of ways. Whether she “agreed” or not CLEARLY inviting your whole pledge class to take advantage of a drunk girl goes outside the lines of acceptably behavior. It’s also weird as frick and disgusting.
And the fact that NONE of them piped up about it being wrong is also horrible and wrong of these guys outside of just drunk kids being dumb.

And I do too. She’s definitely not completely innocent here. But the snap gives proof that a few of them were at least sober enough to coherently share info with others. To my knowledge, that’s the only evidence that isn’t individual testimony.

Agreed. The whole train culture is disgusting!

Who's to say, for those other 50 men, that if they said something those 7 men would've beaten them up.
I’m a “don’t get involved, keep moving” kind of guy. Yes, probably because I’ll get my arse kicked. But also because my better half can’t help but involve herself in complicated situations. I’ve spent my adult life discouraging this behavior.

Cornell eliminated test scores for use to determine eligibility for enrollment. The quality of students at every school that does not use standardized test scores for admissions, have lower quality students. Grade inflation ensures the inability of prospective employers to use transcripts for assessing applicants.
Bottom line, DEI rules still, even to this day.

Who's to say, for those other 50 men, that if they said something those 7 men would've beaten them up. Worse, who's to say the woman wouldn't have turned on them?

I’d love to see the Venn diagram of women on social media insisting Lindsey Clancy is innocent and those expressing outrage over the Cornell University rape incident all week. I’m guessing it’s damn near a circle.
Add in thinking the MS kid was murdered. Would be concentric circles
