It was a yacht the size of a house, do you know where your dogs are at all times at your house?

My last dog was tripping me with every step I took, so yes.

What is that in front of the dog? An open portal to hell?
close.

It's the amount of hair that comes off of him from 1 brushing...

Feel good story of the day. Thanks for posting it.

And to hell with the idiots that tried to scam the guy like that. I really hope Karma is real and they get their share of it, in spades.

So the dog fell overboard, swam ~100' to shore, the boat kept going for 7 miles before Atwood noticed she was missing and they make the headline that the dog swam 7 miles?

Just because the shore was 100’ away doesn’t mean the terrain at the shore was suitable for the dog to climb out. If the waterline was just 8 inches or so below the shoreline the dog would not be able to get out. This is how small dogs drown n swimming pools if they have never been trained to swim to the steps. Maybe it was 7 miles to s boat ramp where the dog could walk out.

Yep. Leave it to internet to poke at a story with a happy ending. Dog fell off boat. Dog found by good Samaritan. Dog reunited with owners. Uber driver was part of happy community to be involved.

Five years ago, before we built a fence in our yard, my wife fell asleep on the sofa and woke up around midnight or so and found the back door open, and one of our mini Aussies missing. She posted on sites about it, and I went driving around when he didn't come back to calls. I had no idea how far he could get or how long he had been gone. I came home to find my wife sitting in the driveway with her phone, bawling, just absolutely destroyed. So I went back out, it was maybe 2 am at this point. No luck. No dog. On a whim, I went BACK down a dirt road near our house, and a mile down the road... the little fricker was just walking along the road. So many times the stories don't end well.

I built a fence the next weekend.

Corgis are shedding machines.

But otherwise among the best family dogs.
