No, the handicapped man should not have crossed the street to confront an officer during an arrest.

This ^

Interesting how the piece starts out looking like the cop just pushed the guy into the street. First cell phone video cuts off. Then we see it from a second angle and hear the audio...puts things in a little different perspective.

yea, b/c that makes it ok that the cop tried to tip a dude in a wheelchair into the street.

Which would have never happened if the dumbass would have just stayed away from the scene and not tried to interfere.

Like when you see videos of fights and some woman punched a guy in the head, then acts surprised when she gets punched in the face.

I totally agree, he overreacted by going across the street.

And the cop didn't tip this man's wheelchair over. Was your friend interfering with an arrest when he ran over your foot?

Well said. Exactly what Charles Barkley said about Trayvon and Zimmerman. And boy is Zimmerman proving him right. Its amazing how anybody can think the situation through and come up with anything besides this.

There isn't a right in this. This is far from ok on either part.

The officer shouldn't have tried to tip the guy and they guy can't run into the officer and think nothing should happen because he is in a wheelchair.

Dude went over there and ran over the cop's foot. I would've decked him. Power chairs can turn a 360 without backing up or going forward. The guy purposely tried to hit the cop.

Notice the news didn't say that he was in a wheelchair because he got shot while dealing heroin. They also didn't ask if it was a good idea to get in the middle of an arrest or run over the cop's foot

Dumbass. Thinks he should get special treatment because he's in a wheel chair.

The handicapped person is capable of assault, or even homicide. No one here would be defending a person of normal ability had they intentionally walked straight towards policemen while they were doing their job and tried to interfere.

"fire the cop/charge with assault" "everybody wins" haha
