This chick actually nails most of these. Some are very hard to mimic if you aren't native to that particular region. I have a soft spot for the Yorkshire brogue...it's my personal favorite

I was just thinking the same thing. I watched a few episodes of "My 600 lb. Life" last night and I wanted to :yack:

This wasn't a Law Enforcement problem. This was a school discipline problem. The Police Officer never should have been involved. What did they think was going to happen when he was called in to do something? Frankly, the guy should have walked in and told her to get up and leave. When she refused, he should have said "oh well" and turned it back over to the teacher.

So that this kind of thing can happen?....

I just plucked this little gem off of Twitter. They could at least proof read the damn thing

Bank with Ally now. No ATM fees, decent interest rate with interest checking, great app, and GREAT customer service. Its been awesome and I recommend them to everyone.

This! I have been banking with Ally for 5 years now and I can't say enough good things about them. Also, there is no fee for checking accounts.
I'm a hasher too. We just had our kennel's RDR a few weeks ago. Had about 50 people and we thought we were doing good

Talked to some other hashers that have been to RDR in NOLA and said it was a blast. Have fun, wank, and ON-ON!

Once a painting has been done on canvas, can you remove the wooden support (in order to transport easier) and then have it re-stretched back onto the wood?

Yes, you can. Pretty standard practice. If you aren't comfortable re-stretching it yourself, take it to a gallery/art supply store/or framing shop. They'll do it for you.

You might consider taking it to one of those places before you remove it from the canvas. The type of paint used, thickness, etc. can factor in. Just FYI.

How a woman stabs a man 30 times, slashes him from ear to ear, and shoots him in the face avoids the death penalty is beyond me.

Agreed. and this woman LINK is awaiting her execution and she wasn't even the one that killed her husband. She had some other guy do it for her. Makes no sense.

No, the handicapped man should not have crossed the street to confront an officer during an arrest.

This ^

Interesting how the piece starts out looking like the cop just pushed the guy into the street. First cell phone video cuts off. Then we see it from a second angle and hear the audio...puts things in a little different perspective.
Sorry no text, only link to video. Interested to see what the OT thinks of this one.

Just jumping in here. I'm as addicted as the rest of you

If you haven't read it so far, check out Rabia's blog. She's the family friend who brought the case to SK's attention. It has some very interesting details but no spoilers. It's worth the read.

Yep. My ipad came in a box all wrapped in plastic and everything else. Looked like a brand new one.
I bought a refurbished iPad 4 from Apple. Haven't had any problems.
Also have a refurbished vacuum cleaner.
Just a side note...

My very close friend is his academic advisor at the University. She said he is one of the most humble, polite, and genuinely nice people she has every had the opportunity to work with. Also, he gave her his watch as a token of thanks for helping him through the academic process etc. :usa:

So how does a Carolina grad end up in Junction City, Kansas?

did a quick google search...

Reminds me of Starkville...
Do yourself a favor and DON'T skimp on the paint. Sherwin Williams is the way to go. They routinely offer 30%-40% off and it comes out to about the same price as buying paint from one of the big box stores. MUCH better quality too!

How do you guys think that we travelled? Less, more, or about what you expected?

I was impressed with the number of Aggies in Columbia. Biggest visiting fan base I've seen in a long long time! Every Aggie I was able to speak to was a class act. I'm making the trip to the game there next year and looking forward to it. Can't say enough nice things about your Aggie nation...respectful as hell after delivering such a beat down. Can't say the same about some of our other SEC brethren.
