While they took his badge and gun, there's still no indication that he's suspended (with pay) or discharged. Protect and serve!

Ummm what? The article doesn't state whether he is suspended or fired.

Ya know. This guy fricked up and yet, I think he genuinely was trying to be decent. Unregistered cars get towed in many jurisdictions. But, he was giving them a bit of a pass.

I mean, it was stupid as frick. But, on the list of shite I hate cops for, this one just didn't really get me animated.

To be fair, I'd rather buy 2 tickets for $20 instead of getting my car impounded.

Yeah. Like I said. The odd part in this video really is that the cop was going to have to impound. So, instead, he came up with a "good deed" to let them off.

But, he really should've thought it through.

I see nothing wrong with this. The cop did them a favor and saved them hundreds of dollars

Shocking this piece of shite works for the Philadelphia Police Department. Shittiest major Police Department in the nation bar none, a hell of an accomplishment really.

Yea, headline makes it seem bad but he was definitely doing those guys a huge favor.

Yeah. And, he was pretty good humored about it too.

The headline is one of those "accurate" but terrible ones.

I could maybe see you guys' point if he hadn't made the passenger pay up too with a threat to " take his shite."

He could have been a little more cryptic about it instead of buy these or I take your shite.

Can we assume that new orleans does qualify as a major police force?

In Philadelphia this LEO did them a favor! The city parking communists will have you 3 days trying to get your car back!

I hope someone went back and impounded the car after the story broke.

The article states

Zagursky has still not been suspended as of this writing.

Yea nobody is arguing he was wise about it, but ultimately he helped those guys out a lot.
