Looks like a map of the drought that we've had this year.

Saw a video of a scientist talking about how they could make it rain with lasers and cloud seeding. If they can make it rain, can they make it not rain? Asking for a friend.

It literally is. Think about how much sewage makes its way through LA headed to the ocean.

The Mississippi River drains the most farmable land on the planet earth. This is one of the larger reasons the USA became a superpower. Another reason is that we also have the most an best protected coastal harbors on planet earth.

has anybody been to MN see how tiny the MS River is? It's no wider than a creek. Blew my mind. I was in St. Pauls area. Weird to mS river so small.

We stopped at the headwaters of the Mississippi last year, it starts at a small lake and the beginning is about 20’ across

Note no trash or graffiti.

Rural Minnesota is somehow different than rural Louisiana.

I’m still trying to figure out what the difference is.

bust the levees south of New Orleans completely

But it would be a shame to see what the river would do to that poor crackers land.

Mississippi in St. Paul.

That's it. No other channels.

As soon as I saw it, I was thinking urinary tracts leading down to pissing straight into the Gulf. But you went with pooping.

Think about all the farming fertilizer run off and chemicals we let pollute our water

It's on my bucket list too. I want a single diesel trawler, 42' (ish).

Maybe I'll see you there.
