You better enjoy Red Lobster as your primary seafood restaurant option.

I’d love to move to Bull Shoals, AR. The wife would never go for it though. But if it did happen it’d be a tough decision as to whether get a house on the river or a house on the lake.

Sounds like you need to convince yourself.

Great place to live, except the food scene is pretty meh!

Oh, and the place is crawling with Hog fans and they’re whiny little bitches!

Some people do. I don't fault people that enjoy those things but other than fishing and cold beer I can live without it.

I'm moving to North Arkansas or Southern Missouri within the next 20 days, just waiting on my start date. Can't be more excited to move to where I can do a lot more camping and kayaking.

That’s good to hear, my screen name is after a national forest so of course I enjoy all that. I love Arkansas, beautiful state. Sometimes population sprawls and so many more people coming there for vacation can change all that.

You have to be involved locally to prevent the area from changing into what the Yankees left. Just this morning I argued against a new tax some Karen from PA wanted for a dog catcher

That’s the thing, so many Yankees and California folks flocking to AR. I live in Alexandria and even here I see so many flock here, I can’t imagine how much worse it is up there.

Push back with enough people and they’ll give up. Happens here all of the time. The look on these people’s faces when the locals reject their ideas is priceless.

Cold winters, potential for tornadoes and subpar food. If you are okay with that, then go for it.

Fall is beautiful is one positive you haven't seen yet.

The Rogers, Fayetteville, Bentonville, Springdale area is a nice area and it’s one of the areas in Arkansas that we would consider living in, it’s got pretty much all you would need for shopping, schools, recreation and home value appreciation, we also like the more rural towns of Siloam Springs, Gravette, and Gentry, it’s been a couple years since we looked around in the area but these towns about 30 minutes from Fayetteville offer quite, open areas with acreage available and nice people in all the stores and restaurants around the area.
