Contraflow: why is it not happening

I can’t keep up with the various threads. Traffic is a cluster going west. Why aren’t our leaders implementing contraflow?

It is a State issue. Sure the state police can't act unilaterally. Probably will turn into a blame game like before Katrina where one side says they didn't know they had to ask and the other side says no one ever asked.

For New Orleans, Cantrell said last night that there “isn’t enough time” despite the fact that there was 50ish hours between then and landfall at that time.

Contraflow is set up to let you go east or west from new orleans and doesn't impact interstate 12
