I’m telling you. We seriously need to demand answers from our state and local politicians after this hurricane season is over with. I’m so sick of us never having the resources or time to do anything. You would think that after the hundreds of storms we’ve had, that we would actually be pretty prepared for this shite, but as usual, it’s fricking chaotic, and not being run correctly, and no one knows what the frick to do. I’m so sick of it and I know everyone else is to.

Like how tf do they not repair pumps in NOLA before hurricane season? When hurricane season starts, every single pump should be working. It’s BS that they come into a season with some repairs being done, yet they don’t do shite.

Contraflow. Should be a no brainer but of course retarded mayor was focused on other BS, that isn’t even that important, so now they can’t issue a mandatory evacuation.

How about a year from now whenever people’s roofs still won’t be touched by anyone to repair it, because of corrupt and idiotic disaster relief, which comes straight from our wonderful government. Texas, always has their shite rolling after a hurricane. They get their cities and towns back up and running in months. We still have parts of NOLA that haven’t even been touched since Katrina, which was 16 years ago.

I’m just so tired of our corrupt government failing us time and time again. There seriously needs to be action from all of us after this season.

I don't know who decides it but there is no reason it should not be happening. This is insanity.

Could you imagine the flip out if Latoya started telling other Parish leaders to use their resources to help evacuate Louisiana.

If they had named the storm Covid...they would have airlifted everyone out of NOLA and gave them each a $500 gift card.

Contraflow only really makes sense for mandatory evacuations, I don't think anywhere along I-10 is in a mandatory evacuation.

I don’t get why so many people are heading west…you’d think most people in South LA would remember traffic from other hurricanes.
