Why would this matter? The frozen meals and snacks are great.
when you are shopping for a family - especially a large one - Trader Joe’s is just too expensive. The snacks are great but not the greatest thing in the world to make a special trip.

I think it’s great Trader Joe’s is opening up by the hospitals, I can’t believe they’d even want to open up over there - times have changed for sure.

Trader Joe’s sucks

Trader Joe’s is effing awesome. I get out of there well under $100 for my weekly groceries that would cost me $140+ at a regular chain grocery.

Employees are nice, helpful, busting their arse, greet YOU the customer. Products are great, lots a good frozen lunches snacks as well as fresh.

Yeah, they’re busy and don’t offer 40 different kinds of ketchup but most people don’t need that.

Trader Joe's is absolute horrible store.

Trader joes has great vegetables and fruit. Pretty good meat selection as well. Not sure what is horrible about it. Maybe no cigarettes?

I agree. As someone who lives in Manhattan half the time, once I started going, I will never stop. I don't know how they do it, but the prices are the same as if I were shopping in S Louisiana or the MS Gulf Coast. It's hard to get your grocery shopping sea legs at first , but that place has my vote. My expenses in NY have gone WAY down since I started going

And the coffee flavored ice cream sandwiches are the f-ing TITS!!!

The one that hasn’t even been open for a decade? It’s okay to admit you occasionally shop at TJ’s

So when did they open? I went in once shortly after it did.

Great area. I'm sure this will go well. Pressured by the city open it in that location, rather than uptown.

They are also opening one on Napoleon and Freret Uptown-ish. It just hasn't started construction yet

I'm glad all the neighborhood luxury SUVs have a place to congregate. Thieves need options when shopping.

Another note: the parking spaces are too narrow and aisles aren't wide enough. Watching women try to cram into a spot then back out without 14 pivots is less than awesome.
