One of the biggest flaws of the Constitution is that the founders didn't predict the rise of the Corporation, with big box stores basically becoming the 21st century equivalent of the town square.

Actually I would say one of the biggest flaws of the constitution is the framers didn’t foresee beta arse millennial’s.

Just so we're all clear. The OP wants Walmart to let people walk out with items not in a bag without anyone saying a word. Walmart........... what could go
I'll profile the OP:
The OP has got to be a sorry arse liberal Democrat male with femboy tendencies. Age: 20-37 yrs old
Relationship status: single, never married, 0 kids

I'm with OP except for the shopping at Walmart part. I would never stop to show a receipt to leave a store that I am not a member of. It's embarrassing the OT is filled with a bunch of losers that would wait in line to exit.
1) it's not like Sam's/Costco since no one is member of Walmart.
2) it's not the same as showing a ticket stub at a game. They don't check your ticket to leave the game.
3) it's not like being at someone's house. You can't keep people at your house if they don't want to follow your rules. You can only kick them out.
Once you buy the stuff it is yours. All Walmart can do is ask. You can say no. They can kick you out. Which is where you wanted to go in the first place.

Tell you what. Since you seem so sure lets wager a $500 shopping trip to Walmart. If you are correct I push the cart out and take a smiling picture with the receipt sentinel. Then unload your purchases.
If you are incorrect then you take my purchases out to my car after stopping for a photo op with the sentinel, then unload my purchases.
Deal?

Walmart as a business can do whatever they choose on their property.

I’m guessing your interpersonal relationships suck. You probably have just a few friends that dread being around you. No way you are married or have a significant other. If you have children the thought of them being released into society at a later date is horrifying.
Does it feel physically different when you’re nuts?

When all you can do is resort to ad hominem attack you have nothing to offer.
Such originality - douchebag, wow.

Well, sometimes in this wacky world, all you can do call an a-hole as a-hole and move on. You know you are, we know you are. Time to end this thread.

I usually just keep walking. Not for any other reason then that I’m usually mad as a motherfricker by that point. You stand in line with one cashier open, employees acting like they couldn’t care less about what they’re doing, and then they want you to stop and show them a receipt? frick them. And I guess your stupid constitutional right argument too. Idk. And I agree you sound like a douche

No probable cause. Store employee told him I was not accused of a crime.
