Both options sound like a win / win. I might be a little more partial to Greeneville due to proximity to Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbia, Asheville, Knoxville, Chatt etc. but both would be great locations.

I live in Greenville. It is awesome. Anyone who says anything about the rednecks doesn’t know the area. You need to worry more about the Yankees moving into the area than the rednecks.

I figured the OT would sway one way or the other. Possibly due to something I hadn't considered. I haven't been to Greenville since about 2009. Maybe I should visit again.

Go back to Greenville just go on back to Greenville
You scream and shout and you make a scene
When you open your mouth you never say what you mean
Say what you mean oh say what you mean
Go back to Greenville just go on back to Greenville

You drink hard liquor you come on strong
You lose your temper someone looks at you wrong
Looks at you wrong oh looks at you wrong
Go back to Greenville just go on back to Greenville

Out all night playing in a band
Looking for a fight with a guitar in your hand
A guitar in your hand oh a guitar in your hand
Go back to Greenville just go on back to Greenville

You burned your first post in 2.5 years to tell me not to move near you?

Heck yeah, Greenville. The cost of living is almost free and you have Does and close proximity to Leland, Cleveland and, if you want a big trip, Crime Village, I mean Lake Village, is right across the river.

Same here and I’ll add some tomorrow when I’m not gassed. Moved here 11 years ago and I absolutely love it

I have also been looking at Greenville and it would be where I lived if I didn’t have young kids with no family anywhere close to Greenville. If my in laws moved to Greenville or even close, I’d tell my wife to pack her shite tomorrow.

Fayetteville is also appealing and have family relatively nearby but we aren’t close so it wouldn’t matter much. But I’m pretty sick of the two seasons in Houston: Hot and wet and less hot and wet. fricking terrible.

Not in Houston but the same weather. I've been sick of it for 20+ years. I'm fine with a few hot months per year though. My family is all scattered around at this point anyway. As long as we can get to BR and Birmingham in an emergency we are fine.

I’ve hunted in southeast arkansas for a long time and let’s face it.....Greenville, ms looks like Mogadishu for the most part. I love the area and a couple of the restaurants but there’s just nothing there. Northwest Arkansas seems to offer everything you would want if you like the outdoors and want to live in the south. I’d move there in a heartbeat if I could find a job paying as much as I make in Louisiana being self employed.
