Should consider semi rural oregon. Only Portland has the liberals (and even there it can be avoided as I do), the rest of the state seems to have a strong kinship with the rural south. except there are alot more options in things to do. Hell, im about to get into snowboarding. Probably not a good idea, but i never make good decisions anyways.

Except you don't really have to worry about tornadoes, minimum wage is $12, only gang activity is bikers, the heat isn't excessive, education isn't the worst, the weed is legally plentiful and the nature knows no kudzu

I have a friend that was a jailer for Benton County. Now he is in training to become a full time deputy.
