Hey, fricker, facts don't matter at all anymore anyway. If you think anything is beyond them at this point, you're the one who isn't too smart.

beef production requires fossil fuel-derived pesticides and fertilizer, Bergen said, along with a tremendous amount of water.

But they're fine with industrial chicken farms?
Pork?
Have they thought about how much water it takes to grow soy on a large scale?

Some people love saying, "No way it will happen. No way it will happen." all the while they watch shite happen. This subject may or may not, but that doesn't change the fact that they've gone along with everything else that had no way of happening.

Weren’t there posters who claimed the whole idea was a farce in that Biden beef thread? (I know Condé Nast isn’t the us government but it’s obvious that it’s the progressive agenda-this is just the stepping stone slippery slope that 5 years down the road they’ve done a frog boil on the American public)

The new American way of instituting political policy is to put pressure on private businesses. One or two go "woke" and announce these type decisions, then the landslide of vocal sheep pile on the cancel wagon and grind down any who oppose. It happens time and time again, but no way it happens this time, right?

quote:

Washington (February 7, 2019) – Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) today introduced a Green New Deal resolution in both the Senate and House of Representatives that would create millions of good, high-wage jobs in the United States, provide unprecedented levels of prosperity and economic security for Americans, and counteract systemic injustices – all while addressing the existential challenge of climate change. Recent landmark studies such as the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Special Report and the U.S. National Climate Assessment Fourth Report have made it clear that we need bold action to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, and we may have as few as 12 years to achieve it. The extreme weather, storms, droughts, and wildfires of recent years have made the worsening effects of climate change impossible to ignore.

Co-sponsors of the Green New Deal resolution include: Senators Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), and Chris Murphy (D-Conn.).

What rock in Siberia are you living under that you believe facts matter to anything? Don't like a word? Change the definition. Don't like what a video shows? Deny its existence. Don't like American ingenuity and advancement that has lead the world for 200 years? Dupe the entire fricking planet into believing the country is the "Worst polluter in the world!"

frick off out of here a-hole with your bullshite valuing of facts only when it suits you.
