I loved it growing up- would like to have 90s BK back.
BK back in the early-mid 90s was AWESOME. Even the lobby was always full.
I would kill to go back in time and have one more BK Broiler.

The entire tobacco industry.
The entire "soda" industry.
Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public to suck on cancer sticks and drink their diabetes.

Did not expect to see cheap booze that mixes well, just add people, in the OP.
I’m at Izzo’s now, didn’t even look open. This place used to be awesome but there is hardly anyone here. They don’t sell beer anymore either apparently. Still much better than chipotle

Anything with the Trump name in it. DJT stock is down 80% of the last two years.

Long John Silvers. Theres one in Conway Ar that has been there since I was a kid (40 plus years). I have literally never seen a person eat there.

Five Guys. They have a damn good burger but their prices are ridiculous. Every time I pass one during lunch hours nobody is there.

Hooters, for a lot of reasons. The current man hating political environment demonizing anything that can be deemed as "sexualizing" women.
No need to go to sports bars with every game being televised.
Those "sexy outfits" are quaint in this day and age (wearing hose with shorts? )
Most young guys are Low T and don't have disposable income.
Food sucks.
And it’s called Hooters. Not Pancakes. Some hiring managers appear to be more interested in helping these ladies trying to pay for law school and don’t seem to understand branding.

Subway. Especially with the growth of places like Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, and local delis/sub places.
There's a Subway in Alabama near my mom's in one of those huge shopping centers Walmart abandoned and now has 1 million square ft of retail and parking with that Subway being the only shop in it.
II can't recall seeing a person there for years but it just stays open.

Five Guys locations actually seem pretty packed in the Northeast.

lot of your fast food places. Service has gotten so bad. Locally we just had a Wendy's and a Burger King close down. The other BK is on the rope.
My hometown had a McDonalds go out of business when the only other fast food place was a Hardee’s. That’s how bad the service was.

I couldn't agree more. Product is crap, service is crap. There are no displays in the lobby. . .only a menu. I've been once when my MIL wanted to stop for a treat. Employee goes in the back to prepare the order instead of in front of the customer. No one is ever at the location on Bluebonnet. I am convinced it's a front for money laundering.

Sears trying to rebrand and remarket themselves. The backstory on the guy who bought them was pretty funny.
It was the same CEO who essentially crashed them only to get fired (or quit) and buy them for next to nothing.
Same goes for bed Bath and beyond beyond. Poor management and yet still in the death gurgle.
