If it flies, floats or fricks, it's best to rent it.

Under promise and over deliver!

Smartest thing I've ever been told. This simple phrase and me understanding that the meaning of it has made a world of difference in me being successful or unsuccessful. I still thank the man that told me this , almost 20 years ago , every time I talk to him. Not only does it cover your arse in anything you do , but also makes you look very good at the same time. I don't care what you do for a living , or how you go about relationships with SOs or family members , that little phrase can be gold in your life in so many ways if you stick to it. Best advice I have ever gotten and was fortunate enough to have gotten it at 19 years old while ruining my first shop! It's GOLD!

Never give a blind dog a chance to bite you.

It will.

Always show up, do your best, keep a positive attitude;
Good things happen.

This what I would tell my son's when they were younger, when they said they were not as; good, or as smart, or as fast, etc. as the kids they were competing against. They are both at Air Force Academy today. The oldest graduates next year.

I can't teach the sales guys this to save my life. Those MFers are always promising shite they have no idea if we can do. Pisses me off.

Try to understand that the word "disagree" isn't synonymous with the word "hate."

Never deal with your kids or someone you love deeply, in the moment that they disappoint you. Wait until you're calm enough to not say something that might leave a scar.

In this marathon we call life, ultimately "Integrity" will get you way further than flattery and/or arse kissing.

If you choose to follow someone in business or professionally, you'll only go as far as they let you, and certainly no further than they'll go. BUT if you choose to blaze your own trail, make sure you're better than the guy you could've followed.

Try to remember you're always on camera and anything you do could be recorded and remembered forever. That way, even if you aren't on camera, hopefully you won't go around acting like a jack arse.

If your kids ever interrupt you in the middle of an activity that isn't "life or death", stop what you're doing and give them your full attention. They should never doubt that they are the most important thing in your life.

Your quality of life is very relative to your attitude. You can't wake up mad and just expect happiness to find you. The inverse is also true. Your mood is ALWAYS up to you.

If your mom or dad is still around, call them every day and tell them you love them. If you see them every day, give hugs.

The quickest way to improve the world, is simply to smile, speak to and be kind to everyone you meet. The more this happens, the less likely negative events are to happen.

It's ok to wear socks with sandals as long as you're a Mexican and you are wearing khaki shorts with a mustard stained wife beater.
