Commercials where the spouse buys a car/cars...how?

Before even getting to the issue of financing the purchase, how do these people magically get the vehicle(s) into the driveway without the other noticing? Pretty sure I would never be able to pull that off without the wife knowing something was up.
I suppose you could hide it at a friend's house and they could bring it over, but that's a loose lips situation if that friend is married (plus, you are making that friend look like shite to his/her spouse).
AND...
Pretty sure my wife would lose her shite if I laid out $50k on a new vehicle she never drove or picked out.

Pops did it for my mom a few years ago, just parked it out of sight and moved it into the driveway in the morning when she was cooking for a Christmas party

Now that I think about it he did it twice, 2nd time he had my sister park in a restaurant parking lot and when they left the restaurant he took her to it

Friend of mine did it for his wife a few years ago, he told the sales guy if he wanted to sell the car then it had to be delivered on Xmas morning to his house, sales guy said no problem.

The last three vehicles I’ve bought for Mrs Füt (aka “The Lottery Winner”) were each a surprise to her.
No snafus because I’m a reasonably intelligent and solvent adult.
I also surprised her with a trip to London in Oct. of ‘08 for the Saints game there.
She thought we were going to Asheville to visit family there until we got to the Airport.
