Test drove a few cars a few months earlier - the wife found one she really liked but the price wasn’t right.
One day out of the blue I get a call from the salesman and they are having a sale blah blah - it just so happened her birthday was the next week. Stopped in while at work and signed everything, the dealer dropped it off the night before her birthday.
