But they're the only ones who should have guns.

A drunk driver who doesn't damage anything or break some other law ought to be protected from criminal charges by any reasonable interpretation of the Constitution. Similarly, I believe registration and insurance requirements, driving tests, etc. are unconstitutional. The question to ask is, "would the founders have found it acceptable to forbid a man from riding on horseback on such a basis?" and the answer is a resounding "no.

Honestly, he should be executed. I'm one who defends police officers more than most, but I also believe they should be held to a higher standard when committing wrongdoing. Straight up lying to throw someone in jail should be punished very, very severely.

Agree. Not like he was just giving BS traffic citations. A DUI is a serious offense that can totally damage someone in a lot of ways.

Part of Commerce goes into Banks County.

This kind of shite is exactly why I try to stay within the City of Atlanta proper, or at least Dekalb County, as much as possible. Those fancy distant suburb / rural cops don't have enough real work to do, so they manufacture drama.

St. Tammany is another good example.

It sounds like you are looking for something where nothing is there bud.

The Intoxilyzer 8000 was an impressive piece of technology for sure, but the introduction of the Intoxilyzer 9000 was a true game changer. Changed the science of DUI immediately and irrevocably forever.

Roswell Georgia police got caught doing the same thing a few years back. When people would blow triple zeroes they would then pivot to claiming drivers were on drugs and not alcohol. Crooked to the core.

That was worse.
The cop was a self proclaimed expert testimony. He claimed to be able to visually detect the use of marijuana. He claimed to be more accurate than blood tests.
He was hubris personified and demolished more lives that got in his path than your average terrorist plane hijacker.
