So you have an hour until the lead flies. Good to know.
No you have an hour to catch your head or get pulled out the car. If on the way out you try and stab someone then the lead flies. Pretty fricking simple.

I have only barely read through this, but why was there a time limit at all?
The car was stuck, he wasn't going anywhere.
Seems different than some guy who just committed a crime, is a danger to use the vehicle against others etc. He wasn't going anywhere from what I'm reading. Sure it would be aggravating to wait him out and use limited resources, but again, what was the harm in the officers NOT acting?

This is the question the bootlickers have trouble answering.

If you get pulled over for a DUI do you think the cops should let you sit in your locked parked car until you sober up before requiring you to get out of the car?

They tried that. He grabbed a knife, then tried to stab someone.

Dude was clearly a little off but no danger to anyone.
I’m not trying to defend the cops here but this is a crazy statement.
That’s a very fine line you are referencing. It’s always in retrospect.
I’ve seen videos where people look and act completely normal before opening fire on a cop and killing them.
I’m not so sure someone’s intentions can be so clearly known.

Multiple cops tried to reason with the guy. They each had a different approach. The dude was fricked up and not in his right mind and it got him killed.
And if I were a cop involved in that I’d feel terrible. Guy ends up shot who doesn’t need to be. All because they are put in that type situation. Not even saying they are unjustified in the shooting. There is a difference in justified and wrong.
I would feel wrong killing a guy. Unless he is bailing out of the car swinging that knife.
Deal with crazy people all the time. Frustrating as frick. I’d still feel awful shooting one.

In a 911 call, obtained by 9NEWS, 22-year-old Glass tells the call taker that he's stuck. He also appears to be delusional and paranoid, saying he's seeing skin-walkers and he might have to go kill them.
Guy was probably just having a weed panic attack

No doubt. Every one of those people out there tried to get that guy out of the car with no issue despite the idiots on here that seem to think the cop just wanted to execute the guy say.

The cops will have to answer that. How often do you see cops try and reason with someone out of their mind for over an hour? Maybe in. Hostage situation where the suspect had the upper hand. For whatever reason, they felt it was time to get him out.

Cops leave, the dude dies (or is a fugitive) and they're screwed.

Deputies said they didn’t want him to throw the weapons out of the car and instead demanded that he get out of the car.
Glass told officers with his hands up that he didn’t feel safe getting out of the car. He took the keys out of the ignition and put them on the dashboard and told them he was scared and wanted to stay in the car.
Another idiot that can’t follow orders. Oh well

You literally have no way of knowing that. Period.

Also they found marijuana, alcohol, and amphetamines in his system(adhd medicine according to his lawyer).

Also maybe, this dude seemed to be clear having some kind of mental issue/case and also had a couple of knives on him, so I wouldn't be so certain it would have ended well for unarmed social workers in this case either.
Maybe... but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that a licensed therapist is going to have a far better chance of talking somebody down than the multiple cops who decided the best way to handle a person who was obviously in mental crisis was to shine a light in his face, aim their guns at him, and scream at him over and over to do something he repeatedly has told them he was too scared to do.

That would be unusual behavior for weed. Im thinking more of alcohol and pills or something along those lines.
