Gotta mix it with Crystal Light Lemonade mix and stick it in the freezer to get it slushy before you start

My husband just had his — one bottle mag citrate two nights before and then the Sutab prep. He said it Wasn’t bad at all.

The mag citrate was worse than the tablets as far as results. Said it didn’t taste bad just wish he’d had baby wipes at the start.

Take 12 tablets with 16 Oz water then drink another 16 within 30 minutes than another 16 in an hour and then repeat all of this four hours later. I do think that lemonade or sprite could have been used.

Ask for Sutab! For us it was a $50 copay for that and I think the procedure “free” with our insurance.

Glad he did it .. found and removed a polyp.

You think it's fair that people over 50 get them done for free and someone in their 20-40s has to pay $4k for a medical procedure? Lol
how many people in their 20s you know that can pay $4k for nothing more than an hour elective procedure?

Wipe with Vaseline.

Lot of traffic through a small opening.

When you make it to the recovery area the nurse will tell you it's okay to "pass gas" due to all the air they blow in your colon during the test. Take full advantage and rip a few echo down the hall farts.

Should have asked for Sutab. It’s a way better prep

It's not fair, but if you have digestive problems to the point where your doctor recommends a colonoscopy or if you have colon cancer in your family history your doctor can have the procedure coded so that your insurance will pay for it and all you'll pay is the +/-$400 co-pay.

They won’t let you leave until they hear you fart.

And if you’re lucky you’ll wake up before the procedure is over … I did and remember watching on the video screen.

Colon cancer is increasing since the 1990’s in adults younger than 50.Suspected cause is increase in processed food.
I know young woman that died at 32.

The prep is the worst part, but in the grand scheme of things, it's not that bad. Get a good book and let the prep do its work.

It's no fun, but it beats the hell out of cancer and cancer treatment. That's REALLY no fun.

Being in the area of 48 years of age you are still a young fella. At one time, there were limited choices of the "laxative stuff". Now a days there are numerous choices of the "laxative stuff" which some are small in liquid volume.
The "laxative stuff" I drank was something like 6 ounces total and super sweet tasting. My consumption time for each 3 ounce bottle was like 1 minute each and done.

Only true if it is truly screening. If they remove a polyp or do something else diagnostic you will have to pay. Big flaw in the coverage many businesses give their employees.

Yeah I probably wouldn’t try to go cheap on this.

I know someone who did. He said he bent over and felt a sharp pain in his arse and then two hands on his shoulders.
