you know, not all Germans were Nazis during WWII, yet millions of Jews were exterminated while the majority of Germans stayed silent.
the same way the silent majority of Muslims stay silent when only a couple of Muslims are blowing up planes a few times a year. Or blowing up airports. Or rock concerts. Or beheading infadels.

the odds are fair that many flights, and I'm not talking LBB-AMA, are probed or are considered for that, terrorists are always looking for a chink in the armor, they try to study security procedures, observe crewmember duties/habits, the odds aren't necessarily decreased because one plot is foiled, how many are in the works at any given time that aren't detected, or weren't executed because of problems with the bad guys logistics? they are very persistent
