drive through poor black neighborhoods every day and see those young men walking around with sad looks on their faces, aimless and purposeless.
Come to Downtown Portland, you'll see those same faces. Except white. And their neighborhoods consist of tents. That look is everywhere. Even in the slums of Lithuania.
Unfortunately I grew up in East new orleans in the 80s and 90s. I do know what it's like to not have shite, feel different, targeted and alone..the. on top of it all worring about your family safely coming home each day. I also know what it's like to get relief from that..but to this day still traumatized by it, no matter what neighborhood I'm in now.
People have to realize those very streets..do lead out of New Orleans, etc. and to better places.

I think Lyndon Baines Johnson deserves a good chunk of the blame here.
He single handedly destroyed the nuclear black family.

It’s more about economics. Poverty and hopelessness breeds crime. I personally feel white people are more violent than blacks from a historical point of view.

Evil comes in all colors. Does that mean all are? Nope.

While that may be true, you would think most would want to break out of that cycle.

The militarization of police. Unfortunately this gets labeled a race issue, when it's a police force and refusal to hold themselves accountable issue.

White folks hated Ali the same as they hat Kaepernick.

Leaders lead their troops into battle.
Let's see if he does it.
Otherwise he's just another soy boy screaming about injustice, doing nothing of significance. As usual.

Please tell us how difficult it is to be black???????? They have the same chances as the rest of us yet don’t take advantage of said chance because they were brought up to hate and steal do drugs and kill whoever is in their way.
Sound about right???????
PJ, black people were brought over here for slavery, they were freed with no education, no money, etc and for a long time they were not able to receive the same education, etc, etc as whites.
Whites have a 9% poverty rate, black people have a 27% poverty rate. I am not looking at it from one political side or the other, but I am just being realistic. A lack of education and poverty last for generations and when you are poor and uneducated you are more likely to turn to crime.
If you have one white male teenager whose parents bought him a luxury car and a black male teenager whose parents bought him a luxury car. who are the police most likely to look for a reason to stop? I am not saying all police would see a black teenager driving a luxury car and want to stop them, I am saying there are more police out there who would be more willing to stop a black male teenager driving a luxury car.
And you are a drunk, what makes you any different than than the black perosn you described?

Focus on the issue at hand.
Yeah, nice way to deflect attention away from the bigger problems. Never mind a black man gunned down an 80+ year old couple visiting their loved one's grave. Senseless violence only matters when certain elements can play the race card and guilt-ridden clowns like you think you suddenly have moral superiority.

Yeah, against the Chinese government. Hey Colin, still taking money from Nike that uses Chinese slave labor to make its products? How about the fact that China just pulled a coup in taking over Hong Kong, you entitled insufferable count? What are thoughts on that?
